Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services help eligible individuals with physical and psychological disabilities overcome barriers to employment. VR provides various services to help individuals with physical or mental disabilities such as counseling, support and guidance, training and education, and assistive technology to reduce barriers at work such as hearing aids, wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, etc. VR also provides job placement services and follow up services such as transportation, interpreters, readers, licenses, fees, equipment, tools, and whatever is needed to help clients successfully gain employment.
