Assistive Technology Demonstration Lab

The Demo Lab offered by the Sanderson Community Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has many devices for individuals to try before they buy. The Center staff can assist you with various types of amplified or text telephones, assistive listening devices, amplified ringers, phone flashers, fire alarm or doorbell flashers as well as other alerting devices for the home or work environment. Some devices are available to borrow from the Lab for a trial period to ensure a device works for you or your family member before you spend any money to purchase a device for your continued use. The Center can refer individuals to where devices can be purchased, and provide information on possible funding resources for those who are eligible. Assistive Technology equipment is also available at the Southern Utah Services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing by contacting Meredith Winn.
