Deaf Program
| Social and recreational activities are held monthly, bimonthly, and annually for seniors, youth, and families. Various summer and winter activities are held including an annual Bazaar, an Open House, celebrating Deaf Culture, leadership training, and specialty workshops. The Center has a library with books, videos, and historical information on issues relating to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Video phones are available for community use provided by Sorenson VRS. A community-use computer and a courtesy phone with TTY or amplification is also available. Contact Eleanor McCowan at emccowan@utah.gov for more information specific to your interests or needs.
Please take the Adult Education and Activities Survey so we can establish classes and activities to fit your needs! |
