Utah Interpreter Program (UIP) & Interpreter Certification Advancement Network (ICAN):

Interpreter Certification Advancement Network (ICAN): Funded by grant funding from the Public Service Commission of Utah, the purpose of this program is to increase the quantity and quality of certified interpreters in the State of Utah. A limited number of applicants are accepted each year with the goal of helping them identify and improve knowledge of interpreting, Deaf culture, various formal and informal communication registers, and become highly skilled interpreters.
